The Japanese government’s 2011 fiscal year starts in April.

日本政府の2011年の会計年度は4月から始まります。

Forty-four trillion yen out of the proposed 92 trillion yen budget comes from the issuance  of national bonds.     

92兆円の予算のうちの44兆円が国債の発行によるものです。

Up to now, the total loan-debt amount is approximately 900 trillion yen, making Japan the country with the world’s largest national debt

これまで借入金総額は約900兆円で、世界一の借金国です。

Japan is an aging society with welfare expenditures such as pension increasing yearly.  

日本は高齢化社会で、年金などの社会保障費は毎年増えます。

In January an American credit-rating agency downgraded Japan’s national bond status.          

1月に、アメリカの格付会社が日本の国債の格付けを下げました。

Nevertheless, Japan will not choose bankruptcy as Greece did, since Japanese people have 1,400 trillion yen financial assets and hold over 90% of Japan’s national bonds.

それにもかかわらず、ギリシャのように破たんしないのは、日本国民が個人金融資産を1,400兆円、そして、日本国債の90％以上を 持って いる からです。
