Before the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident, 52% of people in Japan supported nuclear power, but that figure decreased to just 34% after the accident, according to Asahi Shinbun’s Seven Nation Survey in May.

朝日新聞が5月に行った7ヵ国世論調査によると、福島原発事故前は日本では52%の人が原発に賛成でしたが、事故後は34%に減りました。

Support in Germany was 32% even before the accident, 

ドイツの賛成は事故前も32%でしたが、

but has now decreased to 19%.

今や19%に減りました。

USA and France have more in favor than opposed.

アメリカとフランスは賛成せが反対を上回っています。

USA had 59% in favor before the accident 

アメリカは事故前では59%が賛成でしたが、

and even after, this number dropped to only 55%.

事故後も55%にしか下がっていません。

France had 56% in favor before the accident, 

フランスは事故前の賛成が56%、

and even after that support only dipped to 51%.

事故後も51%でした。
